Do you dream of visiting lots of places but aren't sure if it's safe enough, if the itinerary makes sense, or if the travel time will allow you to see everything?
Welcome to the world of self-drive tours, or autonomous circuits.
I create for you a tailor-made itinerary, according to your desires, your travel style, the pace you wish to have and the type of places you would like to visit.
We'll start with a video call, during which you'll explain your travel plans (solo, as a couple, with friends, family, by car, bus, etc.), your preferences, what you like and dislike, your current vision, any concerns you might have, and so on.
A few days later (yes, custom trips take time!), I'll provide you with a detailed itinerary outlining each day's stops, sightseeing suggestions, approximate travel times, activity prices, hotel and restaurant recommendations—in short, everything!
Of course, if you'd like to make any changes to the itinerary, we'll discuss them and adapt it together!
Once you're happy with it, I'll send you your detailed, printable "Travel Guide," which will accompany you throughout your trip.
How does it work ?
Your self-guided, tailor-made tour includes video calls, your customized itinerary, and a printable travel guide. Of course, we'll be in touch throughout the trip if you have any questions:

Two weeks: US$469
Three weeks: US$569
For groups of more than 8 people, please request a quote.
Prices are per tour, not per person.
Payment is made online, via a payment link or by bank transfer, at the time of booking.
How much does it cost ?
I will provide hotel suggestions/recommendations; you will make the final decision and make your own reservations.
If you need help choosing a hotel location or are hesitating between two options, I'll be happy to help you make the decision.
And what about hotel bookings?
It will be up to you to tell me what you'd like to do. There are activities you can do on your own while you're there. Others are only available as excursions, such as a visit to Isla Contoy.
It's possible to incorporate excursions into your trip. Once the itinerary is finalized and the excursion dates are chosen, I'll take care of the bookings, and you'll pay for the excursions separately from the self-guided tour.
And what if we also want to go on excursions?
No, the choice is yours.
Your self-guided tour can be by rental car or bus.
Of course, I'll plan the itinerary according to your preferred mode of transportation.
Is it absolutely necessary to rent a car?
Not throughout the entire country. Mexico covers 2 million square kilometers, and not all regions are equally accessible or recommended.
The best region for a road trip is the Yucatán Peninsula, which offers a wide variety of landscapes and activities while maintaining relatively reasonable distances and travel times. The goal isn't to have you spending eight hours a day on the road…
If you'd like to visit another region, we can discuss the options available to you. There are important factors to consider; for example, most car rental companies don't allow you to leave the Yucatán Peninsula. You'll then need to take a domestic flight and rent another vehicle there, or travel by bus.
